Last weekend our Junior Golds competed at the annual Canterbury Champs Volleyball Competition.

Our boys competed in the Division 1 section for the first time. There were 13 other teams in our division but this was split into 2 pools. We had great games against STAC, St Bedes, Hilmorton, Riccarton, Christ College and CBHS. We were fortunate enough to come away with 5 wins and 1 loss to CBHS. 

We played against Te Whanau Tahi in the semis in which we won 2-1. It was fitting that we would play CBHS in the final as they were playing great volleyball. We lost our 1st set to them, but eventually won sets 2 and 3 making us Division 1 champs and #1 seed in South Islands.
