This years'  theme - ARABIAN  NIGHTS.

The SBHS Formal is on Saturday 1 July, at the Air Force Museum, Harvard Avenue, Wigram.

It is regarded as the social highlight of the school year for senior students.

The function runs from 8:00pm until midnight.

Doors will open at 7:30pm and no students will be admitted after 8:15pm.

The Formal is only open to current Year 12 and 13 students. The criteria for eligibility has been well publicised all year and should be well known.

To be eligible to attend, Year 12 and 13 students are reminded that they must meet the following requirements:

• Have a financial debt with the school of less than $200 (excluding overseas school trips);
  
• To have not caused concern over absences, conduct and/or work ethic both inside and outside the classroom.
  

The final decision as to whether a student is eligible to attend the formal will be left to the relevant Head of House.

Tickets are priced at - $190.00 a double or $125.00 a single.

To purchase a ticket, students need to collect the relevant documentation from the Student Office. There is a tear off section on the second page that needs to be completed and submitted  back to the Student Office. There is no credit available,  nor will automatic payments be accepted after 26 June.

All tickets must be fully paid for by 26 June. Please be aware that time is running  out and you need to secure your ticket NOW.

PARENTS:

Parents are welcome at the venue from 7:30pm, to come  and see the students in their finery.

There will be an area set aside for parents in the foyer, where free tea and coffee will be available.

However, we ask that parents who attend remain in the designated foyer area and leave the venue once all the students have arrived, by 8:15pm.

This is a chance to see your sons and their partners at their best.

No rsvp is required and there is no need for parents to dress formally.
