Archives is gathering items of school clothing as additions to the school museum.

The present collection includes school Blues blazers from the 1960s and the 1990s – both showing the evolution of design and colour over several decades.

The new school blazer would be a welcome addition if any student is in a position to donate one, especially a blazer with school badges.

This will be acknowledged in the Archives Donation Book with the name and address of the donor and the date donated.

In future times, this will be a valuable and well-appreciated record.

Shirley Old Boys who return for reunions always talk about their school uniforms, especially those with Blues since this evokes plenty of memories.

Thank you to Sue Nesbit and Dave Newton for the donation of a video camera.

This enlarges the collection being built for a Shirley BHS museum and will allow archival material to be played by future generations.
