To Students and Staff of Shirley Boys' High School

On behalf of The Salvation Army Christchurch City, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the over 200 gifts that you recently donated towards our Christmas appeal.  Christmas can be a happy and special time, but it brings stress as it can be a real struggle to provide a festive meal as well as toys and gifts for the children.

Without the support we receive from the community, it would be very difficult for us to meet the needs of our many clients.  The goodwill generated by your thoughtful giving and support cannot be over-emphasised.

Thank you once again for your generous support.  Your lovely gifts contributed to the many numerous Christmas Hampers that we distributed, and hopefully brought some joy to those who received them.  We at The Salvation Army wish you joy and blessings for 2016.
