Football

Congratulations to the Parklands Under 14 Gold Football Team who have had an outstanding season, going through their  round robin games with no losses. 

SBHS students in the team are  Isaac Newbold, Nathan Ager, Ethan Nicholls, Kieran Langley, Ezra Williams, Cameron Grossett, Charlie Brady, Ben Smith, Sam Clifford and Harry Stanley (half season).

The team had a  Top Three play- off and won this as well, giving them the out right win for division One for the 2019 season. This follows on from the team winning division two in 2018. 

They have proved that with a lot of practice and determination you can achieve your goals. 

Motor Racing

Congratulations to Brayden Phillips, who has had a very successful year at his chosen sport of Motor Racing, winning the Ruapuna  round of South Island Endurance.

Brayden  also achieved second place in the South Island Pro 7 (RX 7) Championship and second place in the National Pro 7 Championships.  He had three wins in the  South Island S.S. Cup as well.

Brayden is now moving up to a V8 Supertourer that will run as a support class for V8 Supercars in Pukekoe this month.
