On Monday 26 August, 150 year 9 and 10 students and staff spent the day up on Mt Hutt skiing and snowboarding.

We experienced a mixed bag of weather on the mountain, clear one minute white out conditions the next. 

However this did not stop anyone from having a great day skiing with lots of fun, smiles, skiing and crashes seen all over the ski field. 

The weather really closed in at about 3.00pm with heavy snow and most of the lifts were closed for the day. We were at that point dropping off hired gear and hunting through the two big boxes of shoes, reuniting them with their owners (this is quite a task) and getting ready to get back on the buses to head home. 

Bus three had a very quiet ride back to SBHS with many very tired and sleepy boys reflecting on their day out.
