How long has it been since you had your Family’s portrait taken? Take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to help Shirley Plunket raise valuable money.  

Our committee have arranged for a professional photographer to photograph your family on Sunday 23 August 2020 at the Burwood Plunket Rooms, 149 Burwood Rd, Burwood.

You will receive a 10”x13” (253mm x 330mm) studio quality, colour or black and white family portrait (normally valued at $60.00)  for only $20.00. 

Shirley Plunket will receive the $20.00 from every family portrait for our fundraising effort – 100% of the funds collected.

• Anxiety and Anger Workshop

Understanding your childs aggression - Thursday 17th September, Parklands Recereational Hall at 6.30pm.

Sometimes it can feel like extreme aggression in children can erupt from nowhere - the smallest thing can lead to an outburst that often leaves adults feeling helpless in the midst of it all.

This seminar explores the sources of this aggression, what might be happening underneath the behaviour and how we can work with it. Waste Free with Kate is a waste education and inspirational speaking organisation who are coming to Christchurch in September to present their Waste Free Parenting, Waste Free Living Workshop and Foodlovers Masterclass. 

These workshops are supported by local council, and are a great opportunity to become educated and activated on reducing waste.
