As we start our third term on our new site, we continue to look at ways in which we can make the best use of our school.

Terms 2 and 3 identified that there is considerable movement around the inside of the building during the interval and lunch breaks. 

This causes issues with congestion and at times the behaviour of some of our boys in the shared areas is not at the standard we expect. 

Therefore, changes were introduced at the beginning of Term 4 and communicated to boys on the first day. The changes are:

1.  Only Year 13 will be allowed in both the café area, shared courtyard and the cultural courtyard at interval and lunchtime.

2.  Year 9-12 students can go to the canteen during the first 15 minutes of lunchtime and then go back to Shirley Boys side of the school.

3.  At lunchtime, after 20 minutes,  Year 9-12 students will not be allowed to enter the building and will need to remain outside.

4.  At the beginning and end of the day, boys are not to enter and exit in the front foyer doors. They must enter and exit on the Shirley Boys side of the school.

5.  Boys are not to congregate in Foyer throughout the day, including before and after school.
