This course is available for Year 9 students in 2024

Course Description: Materials Technology (Wood or Metal) is part of the core requirement for the technology curriculum. 

Materials Technology is a design and make course of study where students solve design problems whilst working with everyday materials such as wood, metals, plastics and bone.

Design skills, which allow students to personalise their projects, are taught.

A design folio, materials environment and safety studies are undertaken as research studies.
