E Pro 8 Challenge

EHW —

Kia ora,

The EPro8 Challenge is the inter-school science and engineering competition. Every year over 22,000 students from throughout New Zealand take part.

The events are designed to promote Science and Engineering with young people.

We are in our 4th year of running E Pro 8, after Felix Hunt asked that we compete as a Year 9 student.

His team went on to win the Grand Final and made an application for a Gifted Learner Award to purchase our school a kit in 2018. It is really cool for boys to see it come full circle, and have SBHS host this year!

Both our Senior Teams are through to the Grand Final and our Year 12s want to thank RNW for taking them through their stretches before they competed. 😊

A massive thanks to Fern Webber, Whitney Veatupu and the Maths Department who have run internal events using the kit/resources. It helps build the profile of the competition with the boys and builds their skills.
