🎉 Wellbeing Council - No-Uniform Day Fundraiser

SBHS —

Earlier in the year our Wellbeing Council organised a No-Uniform Day Fundraiser for Te Whatu Ora ‐ Waitaha Canterbury

Well done to our Wellbeing Council (Jack Robinson, Caleb McNicholl, Ben Swift and Kaeden Macbeth) who earlier in the year organised a Mufti Day to raise funds for Te Whatu Ora ‐ Waitaha Canterbury's Child, Adolescent and Family Service.

They managed to raise a total of $1079 and the money will be used to buy resources for the young people who access the service like mini speakers and headphones so they can listen to their own music

“It is significant to have young people, like the students of Shirley Boys' High, support the CAF Inpatient Unit as it means they are talking about mental health; breaking down stigma and normalising that wellbeing is a journey that we sometimes need a little extra help with, and that’s okay!"
- Tracy Boon, Allied Health Consultant, CAF.
