Recommended Entry Criteria

This indicates the level of knowledge or qualification needed to tackle this course with a reasonable chance of success.

Students who have not reached the recommended entry criteria should discuss their course with the contact person whose name is listed in the course they wish to take. In some cases exceptions can be made after consultation and approval. Very few exemptions are approved however as experience tells us students are unlikely to succeed in this situation.

Exemptions are applied for on course interview day at the beginning of the 2023 school year after NCEA results are obtained.
