Social Studies classes (9M and 9Q) planted around 500 native trees and plants in the red zone close to our school Wednesday 6th September. The students have been studying Te Taiao/ The Environment and have learned that about two-thirds of our forests in Aotearoa have been cleared for the likes of agriculture. This was a great opportunity for them to give back to the land and to our local community.
