The Shirley Boys High School Parent Teacher Association was formed in 1957, the year the School was officially opened. Mr M.A.Gordon was as the first chairman, supported by Messrs A.Romeril and A.Graham.

Last month the NZ Blood Service held a mobile blood drive at Shirley Boys' High School.

The Athlete’s Foot Northlands and Riccarton's accumulation of money for each pair of school or sports shoes purchased from students attending our school is greater than last year!

Following the success this year of Shirley BHS Old Boys reunions for the First XV as well as the ‘Class of ‘65’, Old Boy and 1970 Head Prefect as well as First XV Captain John Gallagher is keen to set up a 50-year reunion in 2016 for the ‘Class of ‘66’.
