The SBHS Formal is on Saturday 11 June at the Air Force Museum, Harvard Avenue, Wigram. It is regarded as the social highlight of the school year for senior students.

Our year 13 OED class went to Wanaka for a rock climbing assessment, this piece of writing is about my experience during the trip.

Just before Easter, all 10 Social Science students had the opportunity to get out of the classroom and hit Southshore beach for the afternoon with Mr Skinner, Mr Thurston and student teacher James Lilley. The day turned out a stunner, with the sun shining and only a gentle breeze.

Polyfest 2016 saw Shirley Boys' High School’s largest ever group of boys perform to their parents, families and communities at Westminster Park.

On 7 May - the day before Mother's Day - the Mother of All Clean Ups will take place on the edges of the Avon-Ōtākaro, the estuary Ihutai and the Ōpāwaho-Heathcote. Avon-Ōtākaro Network is coordinating the Adopt the Avon effort on the Ōtākaro Avon River from Barbadoes St bridge to Bridge St bridge.
