The focus of this is having fun, using the NZ Cricket Smash Play 'games' to teach the kids cricket skills in an engaging way. If numbers allow we can then move players into a Saturday morning cricket team (min 6 players needed) after Christmas for the second half of the season.
New entrants - Year 2, however older (and younger) welcome if you want to test your child's interests/aren't sure about committing to a team.

All new members get a ECSCC cap to keep
Our Pukeko tamariki all get a club shirt for the season so they look just like the other teams

team nights and end of year/season celebrations
Last year's Pukeko were lucky enough to be Anthem kids for a Black Caps game at Hagley Oval

When you return, you can now complete a digital New Zealand Traveller Declaration (NZTD) before you fly back into New Zealand – replacing the need to fill out a paper declaration card on the plane.
Everyone coming into New Zealand needs to complete an NZTD. You’ll answer questions about your trip and what’s in your bags. You can complete it at a time that suits you, on the NZTD website or by downloading the NZTD app, and submit it 24 hours before your trip back to New Zealand.

Futsal
What is futsal? Futsal is a fast-paced indoor variation of football/soccer that is played inside on a hard court with a low bounce ball. Futsal emphasizes skillful footwork, quick passes, and close control due to the smaller playing area and reduced number of players on each team. It promotes agility, technique, and creativity while also developing teamwork and decision-making abilities. Futsal is known for its dynamic nature, high-scoring matches, and exciting displays of individual and team skills.
