Last Wednesday afternoon the Akeake and Ti Kōuka girls were lucky enough to have some Mainland football and White Ferns come in and teach them how to play football.

They wanted to inspire more girls to get involved and play football. They started by playing some ball games and then practiced how to kick the ball and score goals. There was lots of laughter and smiles on the girls faces and they enjoyed the special treat. The girls who displayed the STAR values and were trying their best got player of the day certificates and some wristbands. Ka rawe!
