My goodness, the run into the end of the term seems to be picking up speed. Our team are amazing at ensuring the good ship Shotover keeps on its path - stepping up and in where needed. Brilliant examples of our core value, “Taking it in our stride” are visible on a daily basis. 

A reminder that next Friday 18th September is a staff only day. The team will be continuing our work on HERO and its implementation as a tool to communicate learning. If you have or will have a child in years, 6, 7 or 8 in 2021 then it will be compulsory for them to have a Chromebook device for their learning. This was a decision made last year and has been flagged a few times since then. 2021 is fast approaching and so now is the time to begin thinking about getting a device for your child, if they don't already have one. We have an assembly this Friday, however, as we remain under Alert level 2, this will be a child only event with no parental/community audience. We will be streaming it live on Facebook at 2.25pm, and we hope to see you all there (virtually). Hopefully we will be back to Alert Level 1 by the last Friday of term, in which case you’ll be able to enjoy our concept dance celebration. Check out a sneak preview here.
