Growing Great Humans - Ready, Respectful, Safe!
We have been focusing on being 'Safe' over the last fortnight. Being safe at SPS means, 'taking actions that look after ourselves and others.'
Over the last couple of weeks, we have been exploring what being 'safe' at SPS looks like, sounds like and feels like. Our aim is to ensure all children are aware of how their actions can impact others and how everyone has a right to feel safe at school.
For all children this means taking responsibility for their actions and accepting the consequences. It also means reflecting on what positive actions they can do to make our school a safe place.
A reminder that you can help us to develop these Mantras by talking about these at home, using the same language and, reminding your child/ren that this is 'how it's done' by everyone who walks through the gate at Shotover Primary School.
