Parents are invited to engage with the proposal for Atlas High School, a potential new secondary school for Queenstown. Atlas is applying for charter school status to open as a not-for-profit, community-owned, fees-free school (Years 9-13) in Term 1, 2026, offering innovative, future-focused learning.

Shotover is hosting Atlas's team for two upcoming events :

1. Parent Focus Group – Help Shape the School

• Purpose: Share your valuable ideas and priorities for the school's curriculum, culture, and facilities. Your input will be directly incorporated in the design of the school.

• When: Wednesday, 30 April, 6:00pm

• Where: Shotover Primary

• Action: RSVP Required as places are limited. Please RSVP via HERO

2. Community Information Session – Discover the Proposal

• Purpose: Learn more about the Atlas High School proposal, including the educational vision, unique learning approach, and development plans from the establishment team.

• When: Monday, 5 May, 6:00pm

• Where: Shotover Primary

• Action: All interested parents and whānau are welcome
