During 2018 we are starting to work with students to enable realistic learning experiences at Shotz Cafe! Read on to find out more!

Through these learning experiences students will develop their literacy and mathematics skills in an authentic and meaningful contexts.  Students will also put into practice their capacities and school values.  

We are starting small, taking a slow and steady approach to grow this fantastic learning opportunity for our students.  Over 2018 and beyond we will be introducing roles for the students such as;

• customer service - e.g. taking orders, payments, delivering coffees
  
• kitchen assistant  - e.g. stock rotation, cleaning, dish washing, putting out signs
  
• commis chefs - e.g. food prep, cooking|baking
  
• advertising - e.g. school radio, creating posters, designing logos
• budgeting - e.g. food and drink costing, stock control, analysing profit | loss, renting space etc.
