2017 sees a change to the way we are running the swimming programme.

Each habitat will organising the programme for the children in their habitat. The times each habitat will be swimming will vary throughout the year. Why, I hear you ask? Quite simply we have now got to a size where the Events Centre can’t fit us all in for sessions in term 4 (our preferred time to run the lessons). It is symptomatic of rapid growth in the Wakatipu area and how that creates capacity pressure on resources, in this case the local pool. Never fear your child’s teaching team will be in touch when their swimming time is looming.

There will be a cost for swimming of $10.50 per child in 2017. This is charged to cover transport. Other costs, pool entry/hire, coaches are covered by the community funding from Central Lakes Trust. Our transport cost is also lower than actual cost due to the generous and ongoing support of SBS Bank.
