Second Annual Community Picnic

We have our 2nd Annual Community Picnic (before the FOS AGM), next Thursday the 22nd February.  All families are invited to BYO picnic on the school field from 4.30pm. This is a great way to meet other parents and we have some games and a lolly scramble planned too.

FOS AGM

The FOS AGM will be held in the school library also on Thursday 22nd February. Again, all carers and parents are welcome to attend. We’d love to see lots of people for the following:

6pm – 6.45pm A short tour of the school with Ben – a great way to check out the music room, DATS room, playgrounds, habitats and a chance to look at the new Stage 2 floor plan.

6.45pm – 7pm Join FOS in the library for a welcome drink and light supper.

7pm – 7.45pm FOS AGM, which includes Chairman’s report and Election of Officers. Join us in celebrating FOS’s achievements and hear about the exciting fundraising initiatives planned for 2018.

As part of the AGM, the committee consisting of a Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, Secretary and Treasurer will be elected. Anyone wishing to stand for these positions should submit their nomination at least three days before the AGM. Information on the roles and Nomination Forms are available by emailing FOS Secretary Lee Hazlett at spsfos@gmail.com

Nominations may also be made at the AGM.

Sausage Sizzle

We are always looking for volunteers who can spare an hour or two on Fridays, to help cook and prepare the sausage sizzle.

Not only are the sausage sizzles an important part of the schools fundraising, but they are also a great way to meet new people. Its easy work, you don’t need to be a chef! If you would like to help out, even if its just for one Friday, please email Dionne at shotoverss@gmail.com
