Shotover Swimming Sports were held on the 28th March.

The Shotover School Swimming Sports were a voluntary event  but all Year 5-8 children were  encouraged to participate. Children were able to sign themselves up or parents were given the opportunity to do so too. We had nearly 60 children coming along to race on the day. Some were there to have a go and others were competing for a best time, with the aim of being selected in the Shotover Swimming Team that will participate in the Wakatipu Swimming Sports, early next term.

We had 5 students take on the challenge of the Open Championship which involved 5 races (50m Freestyle, 50m Backstroke, 50m Breastroke and 50m Butterfly, plus a 100m medley) - Well done to Kaylo Dotcom, Deacon Dobb, Chloe Moffat, Toby Rorrison and Connor Paton.
