In the last fortnight there have been two brand new events launched in and around the Shotover community. Two weeks ago there was the GJ Gardners Duathlon. The brainchild of Olivia Hancox and Emersyn Wheeler. With some adult support they managed to run a successful event down by the river in Lake Hayes Estate. This has raised some significant funds which will be going towards our accessible playground project here at Shotover.

Then for new event number two, this past Friday evening FoS (Friends of School) launched the Summer Fair. It was as the name suggests the perfect summers evening for a fair. You, our community, turned out in massive numbers. We weren't doing an official count however we estimate it to be about 1300 of you joining us.

This fair was excellent for many reasons. It was brilliant to see so many parents help out in such a variety of ways. Many of these were behind the scenes. Regardless of what you did and for how long you did it for... Thank You!
