Be a parking champion

Shotover Primary School —

Our school pick-up areas continue to be busy places, so please re-familiarise yourself with the guidelines. If you are coming into school, you must park on the streets. Please check the guidelines below and support each other to make this a safe and efficient place for our children to be picked up from.

  • There is no parking in the staff carpark unless you are accessing the disabled car spaces.

  • If you need to come into school with your child, or for that "one is never enough" SHOTZ coffee in the mornings, do not park and leave your vehicle at the Kiss and Drop or other pick-up areas.

  • If you are not in a hurry, delay your pick up a little. This will alleviate the pressure with more staggered traffic. There will be a staff member on duty until 3:10pm each day that your child can wait with. This person will help your child locate you.

  • Once you have collected your child, please be prompt and exit the school so as to allow someone else to use your parking space.

  • Please turn left at the exit of the Kiss and Drop.

  • Do not park on any grass verges.

There may not be space available when you arrive at school. If this is the case, please find a designated park elsewhere (this may mean a short walk) or exit the pick-up areas and return again.
