Congratulations, all the Shotover students who competed at the Wakatipu Zone Triathlon last week.

It was a challenging day with distances for the run and bike being increased significantly from the school triathlon.

Here are the top results below for the shotover students and the official results from the day.

Y5 Mixed Team: 1st - James McKay, Amelie Marriot, Hugo Kerr

Y6 Individual Male: 2nd - Finn Wallis

Y6 Individual Male: 4th - Joseph Murray

Y6 Team Mixed: 2nd - Kasey Hazlett, Sam Legge, Matthew Murray

Y7 Individual Male: 6th - Tarras Learmonth

Y8 Individual Female: 2nd - Neve Wallis

Y8 Individual Female: 4th - Hannah Eade

These students have qualified to compete at the Central Otago Triathlon Championships on the 18th November at Queenstown Events Centre. They will be competing as individuals or in a team against all other schools from the Central Otago region - GOOD LUCK!
