Wakatipu Zone Athletics 2025

The Wakatipu Zone Athletics were held last Wednesday at the Queenstown Events Centre.

Shotover Primary had a great day with so many of our students taking part in various disciplines.

Highlights of the day were the 800m and the relay races. It was so great to see how enthusiastic the students get, cheering on their peers. Too much fun was being had watching everyone and not enough photos taken!

As I write this, our Shotover Primary representatives, who qualified from the Wakatipu Zone Athletics, are in Alexandra at the Central Otago Championships competing again!

Well done to all the students who took part and a big thank you to all our parent helpers and mentors who helped on the day.
