Be part of Techweek 2018! Event Submissions close March 1st

Kylie Jackson —

Techweek 2018 is fast approaching, and Techweek ambassadors in Christchurch and Dunedin have a list of fantastic events lined up, all designed to showcase, inspire, educate and celebrate NZ's tech community, and inspire tomorrow's tech talent!

"Techweek exists to amplify New Zealand innovation that’s good for the world, and our nationwide festival is the cornerstone of that purpose. "

Events run during Techweek foster growth across industries and sectors, and help to build New Zealand’s reputation as a global innovation hub.

Techweek’17 was hugely successful, and the 2018 festival will be even bigger and better, with a nationwide programme focused on ‘innovation that’s good for the world’.

Three great reasons to be part of Techweek'18

  • to connect with consumers, peers and mentors
  • to inspire New Zealanders with your innovative idea, product or business
  • to build the capability of New Zealanders, whether by inspiring the next generation or fostering discussion with peers

Events during Techweek vary from major conferences to small meetups on niche topics, hackathons, workshops and networking events. You’re only limited by your own imagination and our 2018 theme - ‘innovation that’s good for the world’.

Innovation Tour

In an exciting first, we’re extending an invitation to international innovators and thought leaders to come to New Zealand during Techweek’18 and tour our innovation ecosystem. These international visitors will be attending some of our Headline events and browsing the entire Techweek programme to find events that suit their areas of expertise and interest."

SIGNAL is excited to be a contributor, by assisting the organising and running of Techweek'18 events in both Christchurch and Dunedin, and initial discussions indicate an amazing variety of events will be on the programme, with something for everyone!

You can register your interest in running, hosting or assisting with any events via the Techweek DISCOVERY platform (DISCO for short) at this link: https://discovery.techweek.co.nz/

The main Techweek 2018 events programme will be launched on March 21, so event submissions are due March 1st so that they can be included in the launch events.
