SIGNAL Network Newsletter - June 2018

May was an active month for SIGNAL with a number of TechWeek events across Christchurch and Dunedin, you can read our event round ups to see our highlights.  Even being immersed in the tech sector, it always amazes me that there are still companies who are world leading and making a huge impact internationally but that we know little or nothing of them locally.  To attract people into Tech Roles we need to be shouting loudly about what amazing opportunities there are.

Following hot on the heels of Techweek, June and July are busy event months for SIGNAL, we will be at:

- EASE2018 in Christchurch

The Future of Learning Conference in Christchurch

International Science Festival in Dunedin

ITx in Wellington

We will also host our Tech Careers and Pizza evenings for those who want to get into Tech and find out more about our Shift programme.

We hope to see you at one of those events - read the event specific articles for more details and in many cases free or discounted attendance at the events.

Our Shift students are casting their eye towards industry projects - if your company or organisation has a project that one of our students could give the boost you need get in touch today! See the Industry Projects article for the details and who to contact.
