Kia ora koutou! Room 13 is fortunate enough to be the first newsletter entry for 2023! As with all of our Silverdale classes, we have been learning all about Te Tiriti o Waitangi/The Treaty of Waitangi.

To learn, we have been looking at images, acting, watching videos, reading information and writing. As a class we have decided to share our new understanding by putting on a mini whakaari/performance for our kura on Friday at assembly. Check out some of the pictures of our preparation as well as other ‘goings on’ in our akomanga/classroom.
