This term in Room 6 we are learning about animals. We have been looking at the different features animals have and grouping them according to these characteristics.

Here we carried out an activity where we had to sort living things into groups and give a reason for our choices. Students then had to present their work to the class and give reasons why they had chosen to group those animals together. 

Well done Room 6, you worked collaboratively and demonstrated our school value of mahi tahi well. You looked closely at the features and you used what you knew about each living thing to help you sort them into groups. Your reasons show you are beginning to think like scientists, ka pai to mahi!
