Cross Country

Michael Harrop —

It was a very different cross country this year... but we had a blast!

It really was sad not to have all our cheering fans (parents and whānau) at our cross country this year, however - the weather was amazing and the children did their absolute best out there! There was a fun and excited buzz in the air - the brightly coloured clothing adding to the atmosphere. It was impressive to watch so many children put in huge perseverance and commitment to the run - you would have been very proud of your children!

From Mr. Taylor:

It was awesome to see all the training and hard work that the children have put in throughout the term paying off during the cross country running. They really impressed us this year with their fitness levels. This, along with all the children supporting and encouraging each other, really made for a great event.

Also a big thank you to the community for donating towards our charity True Colours. The children looked great dressed in their bright colours, worn in support of the charity, which really added another dimension to the day.
