With our new Board of Trustees now elected, I would like to take this opportunity to thank the outgoing Board members for their service to our school.

Stefan Lipsey, Rachel Dixon and Sandra Edwards have all been long serving BOT members with Rachel being part of the Board since 2015, and Stefan and Sandra being elected in 2016.

Over this period they have given of their time and talents and have contributed greatly to the success of our awesome school. It hasn't always been easy and at times we have had to navigate challenges together - but our Board has always kept our students, staff and community at the centre of their decisions. We have grown so much as a school over the past 6 years and their input has helped shape us into the school we are today. 

I would also like to acknowledge Andrew Don - another long serving Board member who resigned at the start of the year to take a governance role at another school. Andrew has been part of several Boards at Silverdale Normal School first joining in 2012, and is a huge advocate for our school and community. He had skills and experience in property and finance that he would use (often in quite practical ways) to ensure our school was at it's best. 

Andrew, Stefan, Rachel and Sandra - thank you for all you have done!
