Arbor Day
On Friday 2nd June, a team of year 5 and 6 students went along to Arbor Day to help plant a range of trees with other schools and community groups.
The ground was soft and very wet, hence trees were planted in record time and gumboots were often lost to the suction of mud. Many students had to be rescued from being stuck in the mud, so there were lots of smiles and support from each other. We came back to school satisfied with our community work and very muddy. Thanks for all your great work and mucking in even though it was very wet.
