Māori Art Class
With careful precision the students completed the patterning and decorating of their Nikau masks ready for a brief garden exhibition.
One student knew exactly what he wanted to do with his piece of art and took it home for a private garden exhibition.
Children were excited to see their work on display to our school population and visitors. There were numerous photos, positive comments and forthcoming ideas for more permanent pieces of children's work to be displayed.
Special thanks to Mr Nikorn for his assistance in setting up the masks. These creative children are using their imaginations to display individual ideas in their art pieces.
