Pre-season Have-A-Go Sessions

Not sure yet? Come down to Jansen Park and have a go at our pre-season have-a-go sessions. We’ll be running some fun football ac vi es in the park. Join us to have a go and see if you’d like to join up.

First Kicks - for players born in 2017-2018

First Kicks is a fun, skills-based football program for 4-6 year olds (anyone born in 2017-2018). The details:

● Season runs in school terms 2 and 3 (29 April to 19 August)

● Training once a week at Jansen Park in the a􀅌ernoon (day to be decided by the coach)

● Games 9am Saturday mornings at Galloway Park

● Shirt provided. Players to supply black shorts, black socks, shin pads, and football boots

● Cost - $50 for the season

Junior Football - for players born between 2009 - 2016

The WaiBop junior league is for all players aged 7-14 in 2023. The details:

● The 2023 season runs in terms 2 and 3 (29 April to 26 August)

● Boys and girls play in separate leagues

● Your grade is based on the age you turn in 2023 - e.g. if you turn 8 during the year, then you are in 8th grade.

● Training is after school once a week at Jansen Park, our home ground

● Games are Saturday mornings on a home and away basis

● Team shirt and shorts provided; BYO black socks, shinpads (compulsory) and football boots

● Register by March 20 to guarantee a place in a team . Visit
