On Wednesday morning, 24th May one of our Silverdale parents came to school with the Fonterra milk tanker that he operates.

He and his colleague gave the learners from the junior school an explanation of how the milk we drink gets from the farm to the supermarkets and shops. They showed us, and explained the function of each of the different parts of the milk tanker.

The highlight of the visit was when each child was able to climb up and sit in the
driver's seat for a photo.
