On Friday, 13th August our Year 1 and 2 learners walked to Hillcrest High School to watch some short plays produced by Year 11 drama students.

They presented a selection of short plays and each of these had characters from well known fairy tales; there were even some super heroes in them. Each of the plays had a lesson for the students to learn and our learners enjoyed interacting with the characters to find hidden objects and help them make good choices. 

This was an amazing opportunity for our students to see another method of storytelling, which links so well with our topic from Term 2. Thank you so much Hillcrest High School for the great opportunity; we hope we get invited again next year!
