Last Wednesday as a culmination of the work we have been doing around Road Safety we held a Junior School Wheels Day. The learners were invited to bring along their bikes or scooters and a helmet.

A course was set up under the canopy for the learners to ride around whilst demonstrating being a safe rider. They had to stop at the Stop Signs and at the red lights. We had pedestrian crossings set up and we also practised crossing the road safely.

The learners had a lot of fun riding around the course which also included riding around a roundabout. We were also very fortunate to have Constable Tom come along for part of the day to support the learners.
