Learning how to paint Chinese symbols.
The students in Room 10 were very fortunate to have Henry Lin's mum and grandad teach us how to paint Chinese symbols. They talked about what the symbols meant, showed us the tools to use, demonstrated how to do it and then we had a go!
We are so fortunate to have so many amazing cultures represented in our school. Our favourite part was being able to put our new learning into action and practise what we learnt. This is whanaungatanga in action!
