Nau mai, haere mai, welcome to 2023 at Silverdale Normal School! It has been wonderful to see so many happy faces, both familiar and new, enjoying being back at school after the summer holidays.

As a Board, our role is to oversee the governance of our school. You can find out about what a school Board does here, and who makes up our current Board at Silverdale here.

You will have heard that school will be closing at 12.30pm on Wednesday, 1 March. We recognise that this poses a challenge for many of you! We really appreciate you supporting the right of our fabulous staff to participate in their union and advocate for better conditions for teachers and tamariki at schools across the motu.

We are looking forward to a great year ahead!
