The senior school students have been learning about forces and energy. They have used the House of Science box sets to help them understand the concepts of gravity, friction, air resistance, energy and simple machines.

The children were then given the mission to rebuild a treehouse for the Little Rascals (1994 movie) whose tree house had been burnt down. They were allowed to let their imagination go wild and include anything in their Treehouse. However they had to explain where forces and energy were being used. The Treehouses then became the setting in our narrative story writing.
