This Friday (23rd October) is a teacher only day.

The Ministry of Education give schools the ability to schedule a few teacher only days throughout the year - these are days designed for staff to gather together for professional development, plan and develop our curriculum, and continue to work on building our school culture.

This teacher only day, staff will be have a day long workshop carried our by a Psychologist with extensive experience in neuroscience. The focus will be around understanding how neuro-diversity may affect our learners and how to meet the needs of all - especially those who may have trauma in their background. 

School will be closed for instruction on Friday - only school staff on site.
