After observing the many hot air balloons in the Hamilton sky and then watching the Zuru Night Glow together as a class, Room 10 tuned into the inner workings of hot air balloons.

We had many wonderings. We read non fiction texts about hot air balloons that taught us the history, the parts and the uses of hot air balloons. It was a fascinating project! We then used the information we had found out and wrote information reports about them. We also had a go at making model hot air balloons using papier mache and paper bags for baskets.
