Iceblock Fridays 

Continue under the big tree from 3pm on Friday afternoons $1 for an ice block.

Week 8 Thurs 27th March Disco 5-7 pm

"Our Silverdale Normal school Disco, ‘FUN FIESTA’ is on Thursday 27 March, from 5 to 7pm. The disco is a fun event for the Silverdale school community as well as a fundraiser by the Parent Teacher Group

Pre-paid $5 and $10 value cards are purchased though the PTG and used on the night to pay for food and activities, these can be paid for in cash on the night or prepaid via internet banking as below. If pre- paying for cards online, please use 'Disco' and your child's name and class number as a reference when you make your payment to: Silverdale Normal School PTG: Bank Account No: 03 1559 0019428 00 Many thanks, we hope to see you then!"

For the disco we require some parent help on our stalls, selling items like drinks, cupcakes, hot drinks, painting nails & applying temporary tattoos. 

We also ask if anyone would like to make & donate mini cupcakes for us to sell on the night.

The Silverdale PTG is a small group and we really need new members to help us continue with our great work. Every year members leave once their children have moved onto their next schools and our member numbers are getting smaller. 

You do not have to be involved in every meeting or event, just when your schedule allows would be greatly appreciated. We would love to meet you! 

We hold two meetings each term, one in week 2 and one in week 7 at 7pm, some are held in person in the staff room and some are on zoom to accommodate all, these meetings go for around an hour. We discuss upcoming events and items that the school would love to bring to our Tamariki, to make their Silverdale experience the best we can, please consider joining us.

Do you have any spare craft items that you could donate to Mrs Morgan's Chill Craft Zone that she runs during two lunch times a week? Items like: pompoms, iceblock sticks, pipe cleaners, googly eyes, & glue sticks. If so please drop off at the school office. Thank you!
