Three more classes began their work with the team from Taku Wairua today, hearing from guest speaker Jackie Kiddle - New Zealand rower and current world champion in the lightweight women's double skull!

It was a great way to kick off the term's work with hearing from such a successful sports person. 

Jackie spoke about her story, how she got to where she is, her personal values and what made her so successful. Her story linked strongly with the four pillars of Taku Wairua; Belonging, Self Discovery, Goal Setting and Citizenship.
