In Room 2 we have been learning about animals. We found out that fish, birds, insects, reptiles, and mammals are all animals. For some of us, it was quite shocking to find out that humans are animals too.

We used the things that we learned about animals to help us with our art. We had to remember all of the body parts that our animal would need so that our drawing would look like the animal that we chose. We practised sketching our animal in our art book before moving on to our final drawing. After drawing our animal with a pencil we had to go over the lines with creative paint and we coloured them in with dye. Everyone did a great job and we are all very proud of our mahi.
