Prior to Alert Level 4 Lockdown, our students immersed themselves into the non-fiction world of books during Book Week.

Book Week started with a journey into space. There was an exciting quiz to see what we knew about space and even a story read to the classes by an astronaut IN space.

Tuesday took us back in time to the ages of dinosaurs. Wednesday was an exploration into animals and Friday took us on a dive into the oceans of the world, but Thursday was the highlight for many of our students.

On Thursday, it was fantastic to see so many of our students use their imagination and dress up boxes to create a costume to wear to school. We had a sharing parade at the canopy where we got a chance to appreciate everyone's outfits. The creativity of some outfits was really exciting to see. We can't wait to see what people wear to next year's Book Week!
