At Shama, we understand that moving to a new country can be very stressful. Issues of language and culture and the fact that all around you are strangers, add to the stress and one can feel extremely lost! Shama Hamilton Ethnic Women's Centre Trust is an organisation run by ethnic women for ethnic women. It is a vibrant, sustainable and growing centre, which provides culturally appropriate support, advocacy and programmes to be a source of strength and empowerment for ethnic women.
